So yes he can fight!
Proud to be the first British boxer inducted into the ‘WBC Boxing Hall of Fame’ John currently earns a crust as an entertainer. Telling gags and singing is a labour of love for John, more rewarding and far less painful than being punched on the nose! For after dinner functions John’s cockney humour is easy on the ear and stories about his Eastend background are real gems. As a vocalist he opened the Johnny Mathis show in Belfast 2000 and has performed at the Stardust Hotel in Las Vegas. Sung two consecutive years at the opening ceremony of the International Boxing Hall of Fame. This year (2009) appeared on a show which included The Eagles’ Don Fender, Rick Wakeman, Tom O’Connor, John Miles and Duncan Norvelle.A talented entertainer with a big ‘likeability factor’ John is the man for all occasions, gender and age groups, a winner in every sense of the word.
